About Me
I have been passionate about drawing and painting since childhood and attended the Rhode Island School of Design for a semester in college. After a 25-year career in state and local politics, I am grateful to have found my love of painting again. I’ve been able to study with master painters including Karen Vance in Fraser, Ken Spencer in Idaho and Jef Gunn in Oregon. I feel lucky to spend long peaceful days at my easel in the mountains of Colorado, the Canyonlands of Utah, or along the Willamette River in Oregon. These beautiful places restore me and I try to capture their light and solitude in my work.
